Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist of Birmingham is looking for a skilled Mobile Wheel Repair Technician to join our growing team in Pelham, AL! This is a hands-on, on-the-go role where you'll bring expert wheel restoration services directly to customers — no two days are the same. Responsibilities:
- Perform mobile alloy wheel repair, refinishing, and restoration at customer locations
- Assess wheel damage including curb rash, scratches, bends, and corrosion
- Sand, fill, prime, and repaint wheels to factory or custom finish standards
- Operate and maintain mobile repair equipment and service vehicle
- Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate repair details clearly
- Manage daily job scheduling and maintain accurate service records
- Ensure all work meets quality control standards before job completion
Requirements:
- Prior experience in auto body repair, wheel refinishing, or a related trade preferred
- Working knowledge of surface prep, painting, and finishing techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile service route
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong customer-facing skills
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
