We are seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach in the Human Services/Pre-Social Work program. Courses are available in-person during the traditional 15-week semester. Classes meet one or two times a week during the morning, afternoon, and evening.
Examples of Duties
- Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College’s academic calendar and approved syllabi
- Meet all scheduled class sessions
- Maintain and report accurate student grade and attendance records using approved procedures and systems.
- Participate in assessment activities in support of the PCCC institutional effectiveness program.
- Utilize the appropriate technology, including the College’s student learning platform, to fulfill teaching duties.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in appropriate field is required
- College-level teaching experience required; community college preferred
- Experience in distant learning modalities preferred
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.Â
Compensation:Â The pay for this position is $996 per credit taught.Â
