Key Responsibilities: - Conduct small engine repairs, including gas engine and electric tool servicing. - Perform equipment maintenance and repair tasks to ensure all tools and machinery are in excellent working condition. - Execute power equipment diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions. - Repair battery-operated tools and diagnose electrical problems with precision and expertise. - Utilize customer descriptions to diagnose causes of malfunctions and provide efficient resolutions. - Maintain proficiency in using MS Office, point of sale systems, and workload tracking systems. - Work independently with a strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. - Demonstrate engine diagnostics skills to ensure thorough and accurate repairs. - Uphold company standards and contribute to the overall success of BIG TOOL BOX INC through exceptional service and technical expertise. QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma Required Experience: - 1 year of experience in small engine repair Preferred Experience: - 3+ years of experience in small engine repair - 3+ years of retail experience - Experience with major outdoor power equipment brands Required Skills and Abilities: - Proficiency in MS Office - Experience with point of sale systems - Familiarity with workload tracking systems - Ability to work independently - Strong attention to detail - Ability to diagnose electrical problems - Demonstrated mechanical aptitude - Proficiency in engine diagnostics
