Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a dependable, safety-focused, and service-minded Chauffeur to join our team at Hillcrest Country Estates Cottages in Papillion, NE.
Hillcrest Country Estates Cottages provides a warm, home-like environment where elders receive personalized support while maintaining as much independence, choice, and connection as possible. Reliable transportation plays an important role in helping elders attend appointments, participate in outings, and stay connected to the people and activities that matter to them.

As a Chauffeur, you will help bring that mission to life by safely transporting elders to appointments, leisure activities, and personal errands while also supporting the Cottages with administrative, supply, and operational needs.
What You’ll Do
As a Chauffeur, you will provide safe and dependable transportation while working closely with the Cottage teams to support elders and daily community operations.
You will:

Safely transport Cottage elders to and from scheduled appointments.

Provide comfortable, courteous, and respectful transportation.

Schedule appointments as needed for elders.
-
Enter appointments and required information into the electronic health record.

Complete transportation-related documentation accurately and timely.

Assist Cottage teams with coordinating resident outings.

Serve as a companion for elders during outings or appointments when needed.

Help manage Cottage supplies, including ordering, inventory, and distribution.

Scan HIPAA-protected information into the electronic health record accurately and securely.

Fax telephone orders and other communications to physician offices.

Track physician-office communication to help ensure timely responses.

Collect interoffice mail from the Cottages and deliver it to administrative offices.

Assist Health Services with equipment and supply audits.
-
Participate in semiannual inventory checks.

Keep company vehicles clean and ready for use.

Assist with cleaning administrative offices and bathrooms as needed.

Support the Cottages with additional responsibilities when needed.

Assist with other duties as assigned.
The position combines resident transportation with appointment coordination, electronic documentation, medical-record support, supply management, and operational assistance throughout the Cottages.

The right candidate will be patient, organized, and service-focused. You will need to be comfortable managing transportation schedules while also helping with administrative and community responsibilities when transportation needs allow.
Ideal candidates will have:

A safe and responsible driving history.

Previous experience as a chauffeur, driver, transportation specialist, senior living team member, healthcare team member, or similar role preferred.

Strong attention to safety and vehicle condition.

Dependability and consistent follow-through with scheduled transportation.

Strong organization and time-management skills.

Ability to coordinate appointments and maintain accurate documentation.

Comfort working with electronic health records and other technology.

Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling protected health information.

Ability to remain calm and flexible in stressful or changing situations.

Willingness to assist other Cottage departments and teams when needed.

Ability to work independently while remaining part of a collaborative team.
Education & Credentials

High school diploma or equivalent required.

At least one year of experience in a similar position preferred.

Valid driver’s license required.

Must maintain an acceptable driving record and meet applicable Hillcrest insurance requirements.

Physical & Other Requirements

Must be able to speak, read, and write English.

Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds.
