CTG is seeking to fill an Etch Equipment Maintenance Technician position for our client.

 

Location: Palm Bay, FL

Duration: Client Permanent Placement

 

Duties:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment in the Etch area.

  • Support and maintain a variety of Etch and related tool sets, including AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, and STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.

  • Provide maintenance support for additional equipment, including Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, and manual wet benches.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment using strong mechanical and electronic skills.

  • Identify equipment issues, determine root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.

  • Follow established manufacturing procedures, safety requirements, and maintenance standards.

  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.

  • Document maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and corrective actions accurately.

  • Work collaboratively with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve equipment and process issues.

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

  • Strong electronic troubleshooting skills.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Knowledge of SPC and its application in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment maintenance, with at least 5 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting semiconductor Etch equipment.

  • Experience with AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, and/or STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher strongly preferred.

  • Experience supporting Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, or manual wet benches is a plus.

Education:

  • Associate degree (AS or AA) in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field; military technical training may be considered.

  • Candidates with 5+ years of directly relevant equipment maintenance experience may be considered in lieu of an associate degree.

Additional Requirements:

  • This is an ITAR role. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.

  • Position operates on a compressed work week: 3 days on / 4 days off one week, followed by 4 days on / 3 days off the next week.

  • Both day and night shifts are available.

  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for day shift assignments.

The expected base salary for this position is $45.00 hourly. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
