Job Description

As a summer 2027 engineering student intern, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You’ll be part of a team, working for our clients on projects with our experienced engineers. You will assist in all areas of conventional structural design and analytical duties for high-impact federal infrastructure projects, including preparing calculations and writing technical reports. You will also assist with construction document production in Revit. Projects can include VA hospitals, Department of Defense (DoD) facilities, medical centers, data centers, and other government buildings that serve veterans, military personnel, and federal agencies.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team 
  • Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in civil or architectural engineering (structural emphasis) with an expected graduation date of May 2028
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit preferred 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong attention to detail
