Samuels Seafood Co., the nation’s leading purveyor of fresh and frozen seafood, has a unique and exciting opportunity for a sanitation team member. This position is designed to clean and sanitize equipment in our food production facility. Summary of essential job functions:
Functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of facility equipment and environment in a thorough and safe manner
- Perform routine custodial services, building and grounds upkeep, tasks required according to the master sanitation schedule and other duties as assigned
- Assemble and disassemble facility equipment.
- Responsible for all waste material and disposal
- Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified,
- Ensure accurate record keeping of performed cleaning is properly documented according to company policy.
- Adhere to all current SOP`s and SSOP`s.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift up to 45lbs continuously.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in extreme conditions (cold temperature(38ºF) and wet environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours (Nights, weekends etc.)
