Job Overview:

You will work in a team-oriented environment and fully support and provide assistance to the sales team with administrative tasks, facilitating communication between departments, provide engaging customer service, and receive and qualify leads for sales or catering managers. You will also support the continuing effort to deliver distinctively different guest experiences and nurture lasting relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities

· Create memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality that can relate to guests and all other departments.

· Utilize the freedom to go beyond to take initiative to resolve guest opportunities and create loyalty.

· Share your personal passions and knowledge of the services and amenities available to guests to help them feel comfortable, at home, and value.

· Collaborate with team members to communicate what you see and hear to staff and management to ensure the guests’ needs are met.

· Promptly answer telephones and enthusiastically greet our guests with your personal spirit, however busy and whatever time of day.

· Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, respond to sales opportunities and contact potential clients to build and nurture lasting business relationships.

· Produce proposals, draft contracts and handling written confirmation to all clients.

· Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads.

· Conduct engaging property site tours that highlight the property features and benefits tailored to the clients’ individual needs.

· Maintain working knowledge of the broader Lake Nona Hotels portfolio to help identify the needs of the client.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of hotel operations or sales experience preferred.
  • Maintain a professional, positive demeanor.
  • Proficient with computers in a Windows environment.
  • Ability to learn and master Delphi (CRM), HMS (PMS), and other assigned applications.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines set by clients, leadership, and the sales team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong sales and customer service acumen.
  • Effective team player with collaborative instincts.
  • Capable of setting and managing priorities across multiple demands and properties.
  • Flexible and responsive in a demanding but rewarding business environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English communication required (verbal and written).

 

Working Environment / Physical Demands

The physical demands described here represent those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job: - Regularly required to walk, stand, and sit for 6–8 hours per day. - May be exposed to standard office supplies and chemicals. - Frequently use hands and arms to reach, carry, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs. - Visual requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision. - May experience varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels during the workday.
