Job DetailsJob Location: Top Shelf Exhibits - Orlando, FL 32809Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 HourlyProduction Designer (AutoDesk Inventor) The Production Designer is responsible for translating creative concepts and design models into accurate, actionable drawings and engineered 3D models that support the successful warehouse preparation, related fabrication and installation of exhibits. This role reviews designs, renderings, and engineering documentation for technical accuracy while developing detailed floor plan, setup, and assembly drawings. The Production Designer collaborates closely with project stakeholders and department leaders to gather technical requirements, resolve design and production challenges, and ensure drawings are completed accurately and on schedule. The role also maintains advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, BeMatrix systems, construction methods, materials, and industry best practices   What you will do: Attend production launch meetings and provide technical expertise to support project planning and execution. Review 3D designs, renderings, client/vendor engineering blueprints, and related documentation to ensure compatibility, constructability, quality, and compliance with Top Shelf standards and inventory. Create comprehensive floor plans, setup, and step-by-step assembly drawings, including booth/property locations, electrical and networking requirements, hanging elements, carpet layouts, and BeMatrix structures. Generate BeMatrix pack lists based upon approved designs and client direction. Coordinate with project stakeholders and department leaders to obtain the information necessary to produce accurate and timely drawings and technical documentation. Manage priorities and deliverables to ensure drawings and related documentation are completed according to project schedules. Provide technical support across departments to help the team meet deadlines and production requirements. Maintain advanced proficiency in current Autodesk Inventor software and other applicable detailing tools and practices. Research products, materials, systems, and services required to support specific design and production requirements. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices  QualificationsWhat we would love to see: Prior exhibit industry, or adjacent (including woodworking) industry experience preferred. Drafting experience with AutoDesk Inventor, preferably in trade-show exhibits, architectural, millwork industries or equivalent. Ability to convey detailed information through elevation plan and exploded views using current methods. Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software (2018 version or later) Experienced 3D modeling skills using Autodesk Inventor is required Experienced 3D solid modeling skills using Autodesk Inventor is required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality results with speed and efficiency. Strong analytical ability for developing construction methods pertaining to the unique and varied projects presented to them. Due to occasional timeframe restraints, the applicant would be responsible for working additional time required to achieve his or her assignments.
