Additional Qualifications

Under direct supervision, the General Assistant (Hourly) performs routine to moderately complex administrative support functions to assist with charter school operations, compliance monitoring, and candidate processing.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Responds to inquiries from internal staff, charter school administrators, and external partners in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.

  • Assists with the review, intake, and tracking of compliance and onboarding documents for charter school staff, including certification acknowledgments and staff record forms.

  • Enters, updates, and maintains records and district tracking spreadsheets.

  • Assists with sorting, filing, scanning, and distributing compliance documentation, official correspondence, and program reports.

  • Supports daily administrative workflows, including monitoring department communication channels.

  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Basic clerical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing records and data entry.

  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
