WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are a diverse team with backgrounds in technology, business, healthcare, and entrepreneurship, and we are growing rapidly to deliver on our mission. We are actively seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager to be responsible for sales and business development within our Health & Life Sciences vertical in Lake Nona, Florida.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is driven, focused, and has a strong desire to deliver results in a high-growth company. This individual will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing corporate partners to participate in Plug and Play's innovation programs, while helping grow and strengthen our Health & Life Sciences platform in the region.


HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
 

  • Execute business development and corporate market research programs to identify and evaluate potential corporate partners for participation in Plug and Play Health & Life Sciences innovation programs in Lake Nona.
  • The purpose is to expand the network of leading corporate and healthcare partners.
  • Conduct market research and analyses of companies and organizations within the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem to determine their viability for participation in Plug and Play Accelerator Programs.
  • Develop an understanding of the innovation priorities and challenges of healthcare organizations, life sciences companies, pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, health technology companies, and other relevant industry stakeholders.
  • Be interested in the innovation activities of corporations and convince new partners to join the platform to support innovation within our programs and their broader innovation strategies.
  • Work in conjunction with the Vertical Director and Ventures team to close corporate membership contracts and allocate resources throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals for prospects highlighting the advantages, features, and functions of Plug and Play and the value of participating in our programs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing corporate partners and identify opportunities to expand their engagement with the broader Plug and Play ecosystem.
  • Maintain an understanding of key Health & Life Sciences industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive issues, and innovation priorities.
  • Represent Plug and Play at relevant healthcare, technology, and innovation events and help strengthen our presence within the Lake Nona ecosystem.
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, partners, and support staff.
  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and accurate forecasts through CRM.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
 

  • Passion for Health & Life Sciences, healthcare innovation, and emerging technologies.
  • Master's degree in Business, Management, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience in healthcare, life sciences, business development, corporate innovation, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of work experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or a corporate client-facing role.
  • Experience with B2B-based partnerships, sales, or corporate engagement within the healthcare, life sciences, technology, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare and/or life sciences ecosystem and interest in emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a creative, fast-paced, dynamic, and performance-driven environment.
  • Strong internal and external communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements – startup experience a plus.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.
