Job Summary
Premier Psychiatry is seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant / TMS & Spravato Technician to join our growing psychiatric practice.

This is a unique position combining traditional Medical Assistant responsibilities with hands-on involvement in advanced psychiatric treatments including TMS and Spravato® (esketamine). Training in TMS and Spravato will be provided.

Responsibilities 
  •  Assist with and administer TMS treatments according to provider-established protocols
  • Assist with Spravato treatment sessions, including patient preparation, vital signs, monitoring and documentation
  • Administer injections as permitted by training and practice protocols
  • Complete medication and treatment prior authorizations and follow up with insurance companies
  • Coordinate specialty medications and pharmacy communications
  • Obtain vital signs and assist providers with clinical workflow
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient treatments
  • Check patients in and assist with front-office responsibilities
  • Answer patient calls and messages
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR
  • Provide a comfortable, professional and supportive experience for our patients

Qualifications
  • Medical Assistant experience or certification preferred
  • Experience administering injections preferred
  • Prior authorization experience strongly preferred
  • TMS or Spravato experience is a plus, but not required – training will be provided
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with patients receiving psychiatric treatment
  • Dependable, compassionate and able to multitask in a busy medical practice
