Your Role as a Finish Processor



As a Finish Processor, you’ll be a key part of our production team, responsible for preparing garage doors for their final coating. Working closely with both the assembly and coatings departments, you’ll ensure every surface is smooth, clean, and ready for finishing. Your eye for detail and pride in your work will help maintain the quality Vidor is known for.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Sand, fill, and prepare door surfaces to meet quality standards before they move to the coatings department
  • Perform minor bondo touch-ups and rework to correct surface imperfections
  • Inspect and verify surface readiness, ensuring doors meet visual and tactile quality expectations
  • Communicate with assembly and coatings teams to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality guidelines
  • Pitch in with other production tasks as needed


What We’re Looking For



  • Hands-on experience in sanding, prepping, or finishing work (cabinetry, paint & body, or related industries a plus)
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
  • Capable of standing, bending, and lifting (up to 75 lbs) throughout the shift
  • A team-first attitude with strong communication and reliability
  • Willingness to learn and adapt as processes evolve
