Position overview: Supports the needs of the business and development by gathering technical requirements for custom applications and robotic process automation (RPA) efforts. Develops benefit statements that demonstrate the value added to the business for solutions through custom development and RPA. Partners with management in creating new processes, documentation standards, and templates to close process gaps. Acts as the key liaison between development, RPA and business units to help guide, influence, and implement effective solutions. Collaborates closely with business units and acts as an escalation point to address concerns with custom development efforts. Continuously collaborates within the business analyst team and leadership to ensure consistency and alignment on processes. Primary responsibilities: Develops technical specifications and requirements for development and robotic process automation. Defines and refines the requirements as necessary for successful development efforts. Creates robust requirements that fulfill user acceptance testing for development validation. Collaborates with all business units to improve current or future systems and processes in accordance with defined framework requirements, design, concept sign-off, system configuration, and user acceptance testing. Captures benefits gained through operational efficiencies. Acts as an escalation point for issues with systems or processes, working closely with business units and other business analysts. Develops and validates proper testing scripts to ensure development accuracy. Guides and influences lines of business on solution design that positively impacts processes and reduces the need for manual intervention. Creates and maintains technical project documentation used for system support troubleshooting, and future enhancements and or upgrades. Works closely with the business analyst team and leadership ensuring consistency across all systems and templates maintaining a streamlined process and experience for all areas of the business. QualificationsMust Haves: Bachelor's degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.  Minimum five years progressive experience in a Business Analyst role required.  Strong analytical skills for evaluating process designs, development, and implementation of software, systems, or products. Ability to create technical business requirements that meet the needs of development and has the ability to translate to business units. Strong leadership skills and the ability to partner on escalated issues and provide a resolution path. Strong knowledge of business analyst processes and software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. Ability to interact effectively and professionally in group and individual settings and develop positive internal working relationships. Able to establish credibility and rapport, partner collaboratively, and work successfully with members and employees at all levels of the organization. Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to apply solid judgment, initiative, and tact in communications with members and coworkers. Maintains high standards in areas of security, accuracy, thoroughness, completeness and neatness of documentation, system input, and correspondence. Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality. Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills. Successful at balancing responsibilities to ensure completion by deadlines. Proficient in using personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel. Must be technologically savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software applications. Flexibility to deal with unexpected events and occasionally attend meetings and events that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Initial training is on-site daily for approximately two weeks. After training, will work on-site Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Additional on-site days may be required based on projects/business need.
