Job DetailsJob Location: Orange, CA 92868Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary Purpose of Position: The Senior S&P Analyst is responsible for supporting the Senior Director, Strategic Planning & Program Management and the Chief Strategy Officer by managing the following items: Manage the scope and coordination of Growth & Expansion internal and external meetings including but not limited to the development of agendas, materials, action item tracking. and follow-ups with external parties (e.g., health and ancillary plan partners, GAs, Agencies) Develop and maintain Growth & Expansion project plans for the team leading and supporting Growth & Expansion initaitives, including schedules and action item tracking. Conduct Growth & Expansion research, analysis, information synthesis and communications of findings Monitor Growth & Expansion initiative progress.  Also responsible for issue and risk identification/quantification and developing alternative plans in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders. Create status reports, presentations, and other reports, for Growth & Expansion efforts Other duties as assigned. Regular onsite and/or remote attendance required.   Essential Functions: Use independent judgment and discretion in carrying out tasks. Plan, organize and direct activities, as assigned by Leadership. Conduct research and analysis from a variety of external sources. Ability to synthesize information and effectively communicate findings and observations. Develop, prepare, and present various written reports and materials. Ensures projects are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules. Actively engage with partners and internal resources across CHOICE Administrators, other W&B departments, and outside entities Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, and trusted relationships. Must be able to collaborate with other management team members, be open to and welcome feedback, promote a positive environment, and promote a team-first attitude. Proactively collaborates to increase visibility and improve effectiveness across teams. Provide consistent feedback to leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Consistently demonstrate and adheres to Company Core Values. On-site or remote regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job. Must be able to work from the office or at home with reliable internet. The home office must be clear from distractions and suitable for conducting regular video conferences. Perform other business tasks or functions as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Proven record of accomplishment of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes. 5+ years of Analyst, and/or Project Coordinator experience. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail required. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Ability to think on your feet and act quickly to business demands. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven ability to influence others and facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests. Must be able to create business-level reports in Excel, draft executive summaries in Word, and design/deliver PowerPoint presentations. Ability to maintain cooperative/positive working relationships with staff, management, and external business partners and vendors. Must be adaptable to change and can improvise, adapt, and overcome. Ability to exercise sound judgment within established guidelines. Health insurance industry experience is a plus. Project management and/or business analysis experience is a plus.   Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university required. Degree focus in Business Administration, Communications, Economics, preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods and occasionally stand and walk. Must have adequate hearing for phone work. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must be able to use a keyboard and other office equipment—the ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
