Local Ice Cream Route Sales Representative - Monday through Friday - Home every night - No weekends - Hiring Immediately!
Dairy Fresh Farms is a family-owned company with over 50 years of operations throughout Western Washington and Oregon. We specialize in milk and ice cream delivery to grocery stores and local convenience stores. We are immediately hiring for an Ice Cream Route Sales Representative to join our team in our Port Orchard, WA depot. This is a Non CDL position, but it is a DOT regulated position.

Requirements (Preferred):
- 1 year of experience as a Delivery Driver or Truck Driver preferred
- 1 year sales experience preferred
- Clean Driving Record
- DOT regulated position
- Ability to obtain a Medical Certificate
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to drive a new model box truck
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Responsibilities:
- Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs.
- Occasionally loads trucks by ordering, placing, securing items, and verifying items are loaded on the vehicle for the daily route.
- Delivers items by identifying destinations; follow established route and assist with establishing/updating route; operating the truck; unloading items; maintaining schedule.
- Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints; adjusting orders.
- Obtains payment by accepting cash, checks.
- Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck interior.
- Maintains delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments; recording tracking information; completing driver log and truck performance forms.
Hourly training Pay range is $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, with Commission and Base pay after approximately 1 month. Medical, Dental, and Vision available after short waiting period from start date. 401K with 25% employer matching is available after 1 year. 40 hours of vacation will be paid after 1 year of employment.
