As a Shipping Forklift Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the right products, on time and in excellent condition. You’ll safely move, stage, and load finished corrugated products while helping maintain inventory accuracy and supporting an efficient shipping operation. Every load you move contributes directly to customer satisfaction.
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs
Pay: Starting at ($17.50) per hour
What You’ll Do
- Safely operator a forklift to move, stage, and load finished corrugated products for shipment
- Verify products, quantities, and shipping paperwork before loading
- Load trailers safely while protecting product quality and minimizing damage
- Organize inventory and stage products for efficient shipping
- Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns
- Work with production and shipping teams to meet customer delivery schedules
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient shipping area
- Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with additional responsibilities as business needs require
What Will Set You Apart
- Previous forklift or powered industrial truck experience.
- Experience working in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling and staging finished products for shipment.
- Familiarity with scanners, inventory systems, or basic computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail when verifying products, quantities, and shipping information.
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the shipping team.
- Comfortable working around moving equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Corrugated or paper product handling experience a plus.
What to Expect on the Job
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. You’ll spend most of your shift on operating a forklift and moving, staging, and loading finished products. The position requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, and getting on and off the forklift throughout the shift.
Our facility is not climate-controlled, so temperatures may vary throughout the year. You’ll work around moving equipment where noise, dust, vibration and other typical manufacturing conditions are present. Required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, safety glasses, and protective footwear, must be work in designated areas.
