We are currently seeking Sr. Assessment Coordinator for Riveredge Hospital. Simply apply to the posting and discuss your interests with the hiring manager if you are selected to come in for an interview.

 

The Sr. Assessment Coordinator obtains the initial clinical phone information and communicates to the physician on call to determine a final decision regarding an admission. The Sr. Assessment Coordinator is responsible for supervising the Intake Department staff in the absence of the Director. The Sr. Assessment Coordinator may also schedule a clinical evaluation for a client and contact the physician to determine the appropriate level of care: inpatient, day treatment or outpatient care. The Sr. Assessment Coordinator will facilitate this process by assisting the client, family and referral sources and provide information to clients, families and referral sources regarding treatment programs, insurance, and admission procedures. 


Qualifications

 Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related field REQUIRED.

Requires at least 1-3 years of experience in a psychiatric treatment setting.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Strong assessment skills.

Maintain annual CPR, First Aid, and crisis prevention /intervention (PMR) certification. Must have knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation services and Special Treatment Procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills. License preferred.
