$25.30 - $37.95The Resuscitation Quality Improvement Coordinator is engaged in all aspects of the RQI program. Â This role will actively participate in the planning and implementation of the RQI program across the Advocate Aurora Health system. The RQI coordinator serves as the subject matter expert on the program providing daily support to leaders and team members. Â This role will also lead the unit-based RQI champions, troubleshoot issues and concerns with equipment/processes and create system reports per an established schedule.
Major Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ongoing maintenance activities and program initiatives.
- Serves as the subject matter expert in the RQI program providing daily support to leaders, RQI site leads, RQI Champions and team members as needed.
- Lead RQI champions and RQI site leads including orienting new RQI champions to the role, responding to questions or concerns and establishing a schedule for RQI champion communication related to program initiatives and updates. Co-lead RQI Champion meetings with RQI site leads. Communicate with RQI Champions through various methods such as email and Teams.
- Serves as the lead resource on RQI stations addressing equipment related situations including ensuring monthly cleaning is followed at all sites.
- Actively participates in meetings/forums to educate leaders and team members on the RQI program.
- Generates site and system reports related to RQI program (compliance, skills, cognitive, etc.) as RQI administrator with full rights. This includes creating reports displaying data trends for the system.
- Provides RQI reporting training to team members throughout the system.
- Communicates changes within RQI reporting functions to appropriate leaders and team members.
- Identify and implement opportunities to unify life support training across AAH.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Education Required:
- Associate's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Health Care Administration or related field.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 3 years of experience in adult learning; Understanding of AHA curriculum; Experience with large project development and deployment; Ability to create detailed reports including data trending. Â
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Knowledgeable in AHA curriculum and capable of overseeing large projects with fluid deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communications including strong presentation/speaking skills
- Ability to collaborate with interprofessional teams, leaders and stakeholders to facilitate project implementation
- Serve as a key liaison between Advocate Aurora Health and RQI Vendor
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Resiliency and flexibility to deal with a changing environment
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
- Exposed to a normal office environment.
