Sonic Summary

The job requires a candidate with at least 3 years of metal working experience and proficiency in reading CAD 2D and 3D drawings.
Responsibilities include operating a CNC Plasma Table, fabricating items, and using a forklift and overhead crane.
The position also involves coaching and training lower-level fabricators while ensuring adherence to safety procedures and policies.
The salary for this position is competitive and includes benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, and a 401K with company match.
The work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

Review drawings and ensure parts are made to specification
Operate CNC Plasma Table
Fabricate items as needed
Operate forklift and overhead crane
Coach and train lower-level fabricators on the proper execution of duties, ensure policies and procedures are followed
Ensure all safety procedures are always followed, including proper use of all PPEs

Qualifications:

Proficient in reading CAD 2D and 3D drawings
Metal Working Experience
Ability to professionally lead staff by example and handle light supervisory duties
Experience with fabrication shop equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
