Drivers Helper

The Driver's Helper plays a crucial role in supporting professional drivers by assisting with the safe and efficient delivery of goods across various locations. This position involves physically assisting with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage. The Driver's Helper also assists with navigation, route planning, and maintaining communication with the driver to facilitate timely deliveries. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing schedules and environments. Ultimately, the Driver's Helper contributes to the overall success of the delivery operation by enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely, typically up to 75 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle safety and cargo handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with drivers and customers.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends during our peak season.  
• Reliable means to get to and from work REQUIRED 

Responsibilities:

• Help secure cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Support the driver with navigation and route planning to optimize delivery schedules.
• Communicate effectively with the driver and customers to ensure smooth delivery processes.
• Maintain the vehicle and equipment's cleanliness and organization.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during all phases of delivery.
• Treat Arnoff Customers with VIP treatment. Their move ratings turn into money for you.
