About the Day-to-Day:
- Manage laboring patients, deliveries, and postpartum care in a patient‑centered LDRP model.Â
- Address GYN emergencies and perform indicated procedures.Â
- Provide supportive backup to CNMs, including occasional clinic coverage in the attached MOB.Â
- Assist in complex surgical cases alongside a Gyn Oncologist when needed.Â
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, seamless care for patients and families.
Practice & Facility Highlights:
- Annual deliveries: ~700Â
- Team composition: 1 OB Hospitalist, 4 Midwives (growing to 6) + PRN coverage, 2 part‑time and 3 full‑time OBGYN generalists
- Specialty support: Maternal-Fetal Medicine (nearby), Urogynecology, GYN Oncology, Inpatient Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
- NICU: Level III, 5 bedsÂ
- Unit setup: 6 LDRP rooms in a cohesive, team‑oriented unit; 2 Operating Rooms; 10 postpartum beds

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Completion of a OB/GYN residency. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Administrative skills.
