Schedule: 10 month plus ESY
Salary: $80,000 base, plus ESY. Exempt.
What it is: builds and owns the systems behind student culture and school climate at NHA. Program and systems role, not supervisory or clinical.
Duties
- Designs and owns the tiered behavior and climate framework
- Builds schoolwide programming, recognition, and student voice structures
- Owns climate data collection and reporting, working with the BCBA
- Coaches staff on de-escalation and restorative practice, non-evaluative
- Responds to climate incidents and identifies patterns
- On-call climate consultation to the other buildings as needed
Not in scope:
- No supervision or evaluation of instructional staff
- No individual student counseling or assessment
- No behavior plans or clinical service
- No administration or supervision of the school
Qualifications: 5+ years in a school-based behavior, climate, or student support role. Experience with tiered systems and restorative or de-escalation practice. Experience with students with disabilities.
Clearances: criminal history check before start. Annual restraint training provided by FCS.
