ECS is seeking a Documentation Supervisor (CM) to work in our Norman, OK office. 

  • Staff Supervision and Coaching
    • Supervises and coordinates daily activities, coach the team in self-management/cross-functionality, answer questions, and pair experienced developers with newer staff to build skills.
    • Monitor progress, keep sprint work moving, and facilitate the removal of barriers to team progress.
    • Evaluates the quality, completeness and accuracy of individual and team output.
    • Extract pertinent updates from ServiceNow and deliver routine project and product status reports to customers and PLM leadership.
    • Participate in technical review meetings to provide expertise, monitor budget and production progress, and resolve schedule or resource conflicts.
    • Analyze feedbacks, knowledge base items, and daily web updates to assign corresponding work directly from the backlog.
  • Serve as Scrum Master for CM/Drafting department
    • Help the team understand and implement agile and Scrum theory, practices, and procedures.
    • Take the lead on organizing Scrum events including sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups.
    • Keep events positive, productive, and strictly within designated timeboxes.
    • Implement team suggestions to continuously improve workflows and practices.
  • Serves as Product Owner for CM/Drafting department
    • Create, remove, and organize all CM/Drafting backlog items into their correct products, themes, and epics.
    • Prioritize items based on stakeholder needs, ensuring the backlog is highly transparent, visible, and understood by all.
    • Reassign backlog items between teams and adjust team capacities within ServiceNow to balance workloads and optimize efficiency.
    • Continuous review of backlogs and team-added tasks to ensure everything aligns with overall project scope and deadlines.
    • Audit and clean up documentation in ServiceNow so parent projects maintain strictly accurate data.
    • Review and formally approve completed user stories at the end of each sprint cycle.
  • TDP Lifecycle Support.
    • Manages change requests and change notification process through ARAS Innovator.
    • Interfaces with Engineering and Vendors ensuring compliances with TDP Documentation.
    • Manage TDP/deliverable reviews and responses working with supplier as needed to remediate deficiencies.
  • Travels within the United States up to 10% annually to support or perform maintenance documentation related tasks and technical information collection.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain a public trust security clearance.
  • Associates or higher-level degree preferred. Will consider a combination of education, technical / military training, professional certifications, and work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Proficient with reviewing program deliverables, performing on-equipment verifications, planning and performing on-equipment validations.
  • Proven knowledge of Project Lifecycle Management and Agile Methodology practices including performing and training Scrum Master and Product Owner duties.
  • Proficient with MS Office or other productivity software suites, ServiceNow or other workflow management platforms.
  • Experience using AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD or SolidWorks to develop and revise 2D engineering drawings and 3D models of electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of drafting field required.
  • Able to complete extensive research for engineering drawing change requests.
  • Able to create change documentation records for engineering drawing change requests.
  • Ability to use the Variant Management Module in the Product Lifecycle Management tool to define component variants in equipment.
  • Ability to program Variants in the Variant Management Module through the module’s scripting tool and load the configurations into the vault.
  • Ability to assign variants to machines and track changes throughout the lifecycle of the mail processing equipment by uniquely identifying the mail processing equipment’s configuration.
  • Able to create and maintain datasets to build, operate and/or maintain products.
