About the Role:

The Overnight Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all operational activities during the overnight shift to ensure seamless business continuity and efficiency. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating workflow, and addressing any issues that arise to maintain high standards of service and productivity. The manager will implement operational policies, monitor performance metrics, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. They will act as the primary point of contact for overnight operations, facilitating communication between departments and escalating critical matters as needed. Ultimately, the Overnight Operation Manager plays a vital role in sustaining operational excellence and supporting the organization's overall goals during non-business hours.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management or supervisory roles, preferably in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of operational procedures, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams during overnight shifts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing overnight or non-traditional work shifts.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and operational tools.
  • Certification in project management or operational excellence methodologies.
  • Background in logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the overnight operations team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Monitor operational processes and workflows, identifying and resolving any issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the shift.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth handoffs and communication between day and night shifts.
  • Prepare and review operational reports, performance metrics, and incident logs to inform management decisions.
  • Manage staffing schedules, conduct training, and provide ongoing support and feedback to team members.
  • Respond to emergencies or unexpected situations, making decisions to maintain safety and operational integrity.
