Rack Attack Operations Auditor (Compliance Manager)
Position Summary
Meineke is seeking an experienced and process-driven Rack Attack Operations Auditor to own compliance and quality standards across the Rack Attack program company-wide. This role is responsible for building, enforcing, and continuously improving the compliance framework that governs inspection processes, documentation, and program execution across all store locations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can hold store and district-level teams accountable, drive consistency at scale, and partner with senior leadership to protect the integrity of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the overall compliance strategy for the Rack Attack program across all store locations. *This is a traveling position*
- Design, implement, and continuously refine audit tools, compliance checklists, and reporting frameworks to track program adherence
- Lead regular in-store audits and spot checks (in person and via digital inspection systems) across multiple locations to verify inspection quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Analyze compliance trends and data across locations to identify systemic issues, risks, or training gaps
- Partner directly with District Managers, Store Managers, and Rack Attack Manager to correct process gaps, reinforce standards, and drive accountability
- Develop and lead corrective action plans for locations or individuals found to be out of compliance, including escalation processes when necessary
- Own the development and ongoing refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to inspections and program compliance
- Lead compliance-related training initiatives for store-level teams, in partnership with HR/Training as needed
- Prepare and present compliance reporting and key metrics to executive leadership on a regular cadence
- Serve as the subject matter expert on compliance standards during the rollout of the Rack Attack program to new locations
- Stay current on company policy, industry standards, and any applicable regulatory requirements related to vehicle inspections
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in compliance, quality assurance, audit, or process management, ideally within automotive service, multi-unit retail
- Strong understanding of automotive inspection processes preferred; ability to become a subject matter expert on program-specific standards required
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional accountability conversations with store and district leadership
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to turn compliance data into actionable insight
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience reporting to senior leadership
- Ability to travel regularly to store locations across the territory
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools; experience with digital inspection or shop management systems (e.g., Tekmetric) a plus
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a large multi-location footprint
- Self-motivated, process-oriented, and comfortable operating with a high degree of independence
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel regularly between store locations, including time in a shop environment
- Ability to sit for extended periods while reviewing reports/documentation
