The Financial Analyst II prepares all properties budgets, assists the department Manager in forecasting property revenues & expenses, and prepares property operational reports. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.    Maintain the Infor PM10 system, which allows for the entry of the annual operational budget and annual forecasts.
2.    Prepare and maintain financial modeling on capital expenditures for all properties 
3.    Modify and maintain the Daily Operation Report expenses, with focus on accuracy to actual costs and updated reporting to suit the corporation’s needs.
4.    Assist the Budgeting & Analysis Manager with monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting of the Corporation’s revenues and expenses.
5.    Prepare flux analyses, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, to budget and prior year financials.
6.    Prepare monthly and quarterly operational reports and associated data tables.
7.    Compile and prepare corporations quarterly operation presentation.
8.    Attend and participate in property monthly financial reviews.
9.    Assist Operations and Marketing Analysts with projects and analyses, as needed.
10.    Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. 
11.    Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
12.    Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
13.    Attend all necessary training and meetings.
14.    Assist in other projects, as directed.
15.    Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed.  
16.    Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.
17.    Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:
1.    Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
2.    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
3.    Three (3) to five (5) years financial or operational analysis experience required, preferably in the gaming industry. 
4.    Experienced in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
5.    Experienced with MS Access and Word preferred.
6.    Experienced with Infinium, Showcase, ACSC and Infor PM10 preferred.

Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:
1.    Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally. 
2.    Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
3.    Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
4.    Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

1.    Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the property.
2.    Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
3.    Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, noisy casino environment and effectively deal with guests, management and employees in all situations.
4.    Must be able to lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
5.    Must be able to bend, kneel, or stretch for filing purposes.
6.    Must be able to sit for extended periods working at a computer terminal.
 

Salary Starting Rate:

$61,336.77

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
 

Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
