Job Summary

Responsible for managing front desk activities, coordinating patient appointments, and providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the healthcare facility.
-Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services, appointment availability, and general office policies.
-Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers and staff to optimize appointment availability.
-Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate documentation and updating patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
-Collect and process patient payments, co-pays, and insurance information as required.
-Inventory and supply management.
-Other duties as assigned from time to time per business needs of the clinic.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate's degree in a health related or management field preferred.

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or medical office setting.

  • Epic experience preferred.


Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, electronic health records, and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and general office procedures in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
