About the Role
Personal Home Care of Atlanta is seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to provide overnight support for a 5½-year-old client in Newnan, GA. Our client is autistic and has multiple medical needs, requiring a caregiver who is patient, attentive, and comfortable providing hands-on nursing-related support in a home setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide overnight care and supervision 3-4 nights/week with additional shifts as needed during medical flare-ups
- Assist with medical needs and nursing-related tasks as directed by the family's care plan
- Monitor client's health and comfort throughout the shift, responding appropriately to changes in condition
- Support daily routines in a way that is sensitive to the client's autism (e.g., consistency, sensory needs, calm communication)
- Administer medications or treatments as trained and authorized
- Maintain clear communication with family and care team regarding any changes in condition
- Keep accurate care notes/documentation as required
Qualifications
- Prior experience with pediatric care, special needs care, and/or nursing support strongly preferred
- Experience working with autistic children or individuals with sensory/behavioral needs a plus
- Comfortable with medical care tasks (training/certification requirements to be confirmed based on care level needed — e.g., CNA, HHA, or similar)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight shifts
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with family members
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check and any required health screenings
