Lead Quality, Safety & Regulatory Analyst - Emergency Medicine Service Line

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced nursing professional to serve as a strategic clinical leader supporting our Emergency Medicine Service Line. In this highly visible role, you will advance professional nursing practice, champion patient safety, drive quality improvement initiatives, and lead accreditation and regulatory readiness efforts across emergency and trauma services. What You'll Do

As a trusted clinical expert and influential leader, you will:

  • Lead quality, patient safety, and regulatory initiatives across the Emergency Medicine Service Line.
  • Partner with physician, nursing, pharmacy, and operational leaders to improve patient outcomes and elevate the care experience.
  • Drive accreditation readiness and compliance with Joint Commission, state, and federal standards.
  • Lead patient safety reviews, Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), CANDOR processes, and risk reduction strategies.
  • Analyze and interpret quality, safety, patient experience, and clinical outcome data to identify opportunities and guide strategic improvements.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based programs, staff education, and change management initiatives that enhance clinical competency and best practices.
  • Champion a culture of high reliability, continuous improvement, and professional excellence.
  • Lead research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement projects that advance innovation and measurable outcomes.
  • Represent Emergency Medicine on organizational and system committees, translating strategic priorities into operational practice.
  • Mentor and support caregivers while modeling professional nursing excellence and patient- and family-centered care.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Quality Management, or a related healthcare field required.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Delaware or Compact State licensure
  • Current BLS certification
  • Specialty board certification required. Executive leadership and/or patient safety certification preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive clinical and leadership experience required. Emergency nursing, trauma, quality and or patient safety leadership experience desired.

Annual Compensation Range $123,614.40 - $197,766.40This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
