About the Role:
Angel Care Home Companion Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver fluent in Chinese Mandarin to join our team in Queens, NY. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by providing personalized, culturally sensitive care right in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients and their families to ensure comfort and understanding
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients in a warm, respectful manner
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community activities as needed
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation
Requirements:
- Fluency in Chinese Mandarin (spoken and/or written) is required
- Prior experience in caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) roles preferred
- HHA or PCA certification a plus
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine passion for helping others
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be located in or able to commute to Queens, NY
