Overview

OMnet is a wholly owned subsidiary of Omnicom Media Group Holdings, LLC and was founded in late 2013. Operating as the principal buying arm of OMG, OMnet creates a private marketplace of premium media by entering into firm media commitments in return for discounts v. the marketplace.

All investments are guaranteed and made upfront with Omnicom dollars, allowing OMnet to secure discounts from a select group of media partners. While OMnet takes on all the financial risk, we use this platform as a mechanism to provide our 125+ OMG clients a savings benefit on a spend that runs through the program.

The Investment Manager is the category lead for the Digital Investment team and will work across all pieces of business within the digital space. He/she thoroughly understands the digital world and client business by staying abreast of the digital marketplace activity gained through constant analysis and education.

By nature, Investment Managers are curious and open to investigating unique opportunities to reach the target consumer, yet prepared to provide a point-of-view, recommendation, and alternative options to the various digital media tools in the marketplace.

Investment Managers are the primary guide to take Account Executives through the fundamentals of the planning process, to delegate responsibilities that will simultaneously meet business goals and contribute to the AE’s development, develop timelines to help manage deadlines and time management, and to provide directional and timely feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Associate and Group Directors in managing team structure, processes, and internal and external communications.
  • Support integrated media planning functions, including strategy development, media plan creation, research, buying, and negotiations across Linear Television, Digital, Audio, OOH, Social, and Local media channels.
  • Assist Account Executives in negotiating and executing media buys while collaborating with media partners and internal teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Develop and evaluate media recommendations using proprietary research tools, marketplace insights, and industry best practices.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide optimization recommendations based on client goals, media effectiveness, and marketplace trends.
  • Measure and report on campaign results, offering tactical alternatives and strategic recommendations when appropriate.
  • Develop and mentor Account Executives by providing training, guidance, and support with day-to-day workflow and responsibilities.
  • Attend vendor and publisher meetings to stay informed on new technologies, emerging platforms, innovation opportunities, research, and industry trends across all media disciplines.
  • Participate in or lead client communications and presentations when appropriate.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal OMG teams, agency partners, and media vendors.
  • Demonstrate accountability for the successful execution of media plans and achievement of client business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of media buying, negotiation, and implementation experience within an agency environment.
  • Experience working across multiple media disciplines, including Linear Television, Digital, Audio, OOH, Social, and Local media.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong understanding of the media marketplace, account management principles, and integrated media strategy.
  • Passion for staying current on emerging trends, consumer behavior, and evolving media technologies.
  • Experience with industry tools such as Prisma, DDS, DCM, Sizmek, Comscore, Nielsen, or comparable media platforms.
  • Foundational knowledge of related disciplines such as economics, journalism, psychology, or consumer behavior.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to think strategically and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly, collaborate effectively, and build strong relationships across teams and partners.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Compensation Range
$40,000—$66,500 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
