About the Role:
The Resilience Project Inc is looking for a passionate and driven Fundraiser to join our mission-driven team in New York, NY. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute fundraising campaigns to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events, drives, and donor engagement initiatives
- Write compelling grant proposals, donor appeals, and fundraising communications
- Track and manage donor data using CRM software to ensure accurate records and reporting
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to align fundraising strategies with organizational goals
- Research new funding opportunities and prospective major gift donors
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or donor relations
- Proven track record of meeting fundraising targets and securing donations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive, donor-centered approach
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Bloomerang, or similar tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Genuine passion for social impact, community resilience, and nonprofit work
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field preferred
