(For more information, please visit: https://www.cpc-nyc.org).       JOB SUMMARY   The Development Coordinator provides essential operational and fundraising support to CPC’s Development team. Under the supervision of the Donor Database Manager, the Coordinator assists with the day-to-day execution of established systems, workflows, and administrative processes, including gift and pledge processing, donor acknowledgements, Salesforce data maintenance, reconciliation, reporting, and department coordination. Working closely with the Donor Database Manager and other Development team members, the Coordinator helps ensure accurate records, timely donor recognition, and efficient fundraising operations.    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Donor Engagement Draft acknowledgment of letters and tax receipts for all gifts in accordance with established gift processing procedures to ensure timely, accurate, and meaningful donor recognition.   Conduct prospect and donor research as needed to support fundraising efforts and maintain accurate donor information. Data Management: Support the Donor Database Manager with Salesforce data entry and data hygiene, including donor information, donor relationships, pledges, donations, workplace giving, and matching gifts across multiple platforms.   Assist with reconciling gift records with the Finance team monthly and annually. Assist with preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders to track fundraising progress and evaluate fundraising efforts.  Development Operations: Contribute to the creation and implementation of the fundraising plan; conduct periodic check-ins and assessments throughout the year.   Prepare check requests, credit card expense reports, and invoices.   Schedule meetings, maintain calendar, organize notes and documentation, and send reminders for the team.   Other: Provide administrative and logistical support for major fundraising events.   Support Development team initiatives and perform special projects and other duties as assigned.   QUALIFICATIONS   Education and Experience: Associate degree or higher and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in nonprofit fundraising, development operations, database administration, or a related field.   Relevant or transferable experience in required responsibilities; familiarity with the AAPI, immigrant, and low-income communities.     Skills and Competencies: Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite; technologically proficient and quick to learn new systems. Experience with Concur, PaperSave, Robin, Canva, or similar systems preferred.   Exhibit a high level of discretion, professionalism, and an ethical approach to fundraising.   Ability to work independently on assigned responsibilities with limited supervision while collaborating effectively as part of a team.   Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, organizational skills, project management skills, and commitment to data accuracy.
