Verve For Advertisers is a technology company that empowers brands and agencies to connect moments of discovery and drive measurable outcomes across screens.

As part of Verve, we've unified the company's demand-side offering, bringing together the largest on-site search intent dataset outside of walled gardens, direct SDK integrations with top apps, alongside data partnerships with 3M+ websites and LLMs. Our technology captures both what consumers do and why they do it, delivering high-fidelity audiences, insights, and activation across premium omnichannel inventory.

We’re seeking an Associate Director, Client Services with a strong understanding of digital media and programmatic advertising to lead a team of Client Solutions Managers and to serve as the primary client contact for key brand, agency, and publisher accounts. You’ll ensure ad campaigns run seamlessly while driving satisfaction, retention, and growth. This is a great opportunity for someone who excels at building relationships, translating client goals into campaign strategy, and driving revenue growth through exceptional communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities include

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of Client Solutions Managers through structured coaching, performance management, and the establishment of clear standards of excellence.
  • Oversee the health and performance of the team’s book of business, including proactively identifying risks and growth opportunities across accounts, and ensuring effective pacing and delivery in partnership with Campaign Management leads.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex client issues, providing solution-oriented leadership to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships between Client Solutions and Sales, ensuring each team remains informed and aligned throughout the full campaign lifecycle.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Sales Strategy, Production, and Product to drive operational excellence, ensure seamless campaign execution, and advocate for team priorities.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes that enhance consistency, efficiency, and quality across all stages of the campaign lifecycle, including pre-launch, in-flight, and post-campaign wrap.
  • Serve as a driver of change; synthesize team insights and client trends into actionable recommendations for senior leadership; and proactively develop and introduce new innovations, processes, and strategic enhancements for the team.

Here are a few indicators that you're the right person

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media, ad tech, or programmatic advertising, including 2+ years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Familiarity with DSPs (The Trade Desk, Xandr, Meta) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, IAS, DoubleClick).
  • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM tools, such as Salesforce, to manage client accounts effectively.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple accounts and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle client interactions with professionalism and ease, manage programs effectively, and deliver clear performance updates.
  • Strong collaboration skills, partnering seamlessly with Campaign Managers, Ad Operations, and Sales.
  • Naturally curious, with a desire to understand advertising technology and continually improve client outcomes.

Some company benefits include

  • Competitive salary & favorable commission package (SALES ONLY)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus mental health resources
  • 401(k) match and generous PTO
  • Hybrid work environment (NYC office)
  • Free lunch for onsite team members in NYC
  • Volunteer Opportunities
  • Opportunities for professional development in a high-growth ad tech company
