Lead analytical initiatives, specializing in unsecured lending portfolios (e.g. Personal Loans, and Credit Cards). Strategic advisory, policy development, and operational oversight in credit risk analytics. Lead a team, deliver insights through advanced analytics and BI tools, and drive improvements in client risk strategies. Lead and manage risk analytics projects to support tactical and strategic initiatives across Consumer Lending. Develop and refine credit risk policies including acquisition, line management, and collections strategies. 

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement A/B testing frameworks using Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize policy effectiveness.
  • Perform portfolio analytics to monitor performance, identify emerging risks, and recommend data-driven mitigation strategies. 
  • Leverage machine learning (ML) and AI techniques (e.g., Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, NLP) to enhance risk prediction models. 
  • Build and maintain BI frameworks and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Excel. 
  • Conduct regression, clustering, time series, and statistical modeling for risk forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and audit teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and risk appetite.
  • Prepare and present analytical findings to senior stakeholders and executive leadership through impactful storytelling and data visualization. 
  • Mentor and manage teams, fostering professional development and project delivery excellence. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational processes and automate data workflows. 
  • Evaluate remediation analytics and restitution plans to ensure policy compliance and regulatory correctness. 
  • Manage and maintain data infrastructure using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), Snowflake, and Databricks. 
  • Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Telecommuting permitted.

Qualifications

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a directly related field plus eight (8) years of Related professional experience. Experience must include the following: Six (6) years of experience with coding and testing skillsets leveraging SAS, SQL, R, and Python; Four (4) years of experience with risk and portfolio analytics, acquisition and line management strategy, and collections strategy development Credit card or consumer lending analytics; Three (3) years of experience with the following: Project management to deliver complex initiatives including setting up timelines, stakeholder alignment, designing project milestones, and owning final deliver; Building storylines on strategy outcomes, creating PowerPoint decks and delivering reports and presentations to key executives; Two (2) years of experience with the following: Reporting/dashboarding and performance tracking using visualization tools such as, Power BI and Tableau; Model development in the credit risk space; Six (6) months of experience with collaborating with Operations and Underwriting teams to streamline processes and drive cross functional efficiency.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $170,000 to $190,000 per year.
