What You’ll DoÂ
Develop and enhance the data and analytics capabilities of Horizon Next – 70%Â
Partner with senior BI team members on data modeling and reporting efforts to make data as accessible as possible throughout Horizon NextÂ
Bring together disparate data sources by building data models that can be used by both technical and non-technical stakeholdersÂ
Create and maintain automated data tests to ensure high data quality across all data modelsÂ
Collaborate with Data Engineering team members to bring new data sources into our data warehouse and add them into new data modelsÂ
​Drive education and adoption of data products across teams – 30%Â
Act as a liaison between the Horizon Next Analytics team and other internal teams on matters related to data sources, data access, and reporting availability Â
Educate non-technical team members on our data products and how best to use data to inform their decision-making processÂ
Work with Horizon Next clients to understand their data and create meaningful KPIs for media campaignsÂ
Who You Are Â
You have a background in or knowledge of the media, advertising, or direct-response industriesÂ
You have a background in data or analytics but are more interested in building processes, automation, and tooling than providing insights and recommendationsÂ
You are comfortable having one foot in the “business” world and one foot in the “processes & code” worldÂ
You enjoy creating reusable and automatable processes that can scaleÂ
You have a strong background in SQLÂ
A supporter of and advocate for diversity, equity and inclusionÂ
Preferred Skills & ExperienceÂ
RequiredÂ
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, analytics or business subject areaÂ
1-3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar fieldÂ
1-2 years of experience in media, advertising, or similar industryÂ
1-3 years using SQL in a work environmentÂ
Experience with a cloud data warehouse like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or SnowflakeÂ
PreferredÂ
Experience with Git or a similar version control systemÂ
Experience with a query engine like Presto, Hive, or Spark SQLÂ Â
Experience with Python or a similar programming languageÂ
Experience with BI or dashboard tools like Tableau, Looker, or DomoÂ
Experience with dbt (data build tool)Â

Salary Range
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education,  licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach. We provide a competitive total rewards package including a discretionary bonus and a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, company paid holidays and unlimited paid time off (PTO), mental health and wellness resources, pet insurance, childcare resources, identity theft insurance, fertility assistance programs, and fitness reimbursement.
