About the Role:

The Senior Supervisor, COPCE at Wabash is responsible for overseeing the operations within the Center of Production and Continuous Excellence (COPCE). This role involves leading initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance production efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team within COPCE to achieve production and continuous improvement goals.
  • Implement strategies and initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of COPCE initiatives with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices within COPCE.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Drive a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the COPCE team.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance COPCE capabilities.
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders to refine processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation of COPCE changes.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management or production roles, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in using and implementing continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
