Utility Assemblers work Monday- Thursday, 10 hours/day! This position requires a strong aptitude for learning and a positive attitude! Sewing is just one of the skills needed in this department! Assemblers in this area will upholster and stuff table accessories and build small components to tables and chairs. The Utility Assembler position promotes cross training opportunities to help you advance your career at Oakworks. The more areas employees train in, their pay rate increases! Train in 3 areas- receive $1.00/ hour increase Train in 5 areas- receive an additional $.50/hour Train in 8 areas- receive an additional $.50/hour  QualificationsQualifications:   Education: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 2+ years experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred. Medical product development or other regulated assembly industry experience is preferred. • Must be able to demonstrate mechanical ability (Read Drawings, Assemble Electrical & Mechanical Components, and Validate Quality)  • Understanding of traditional manufacturing processes with machining and fabricating experience preferred.  • Ability to communicate and work with multiple departments.   Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit/walk/stand for extended periods of time on a daily basis • Ability to lift/reach/bend/stretch in manufacturing environment • Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time on a daily basis • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Equal Opportunity Employer and M/F/Vets/Disability
