Simpson Race Products, part of Holley Performance Brands, is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support its manufacturing and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and staging materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and a safe, organized work environment.
The successful candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
- Move raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods to designated locations.
- Stage and deliver materials to production areas according to schedules and work orders.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare materials or finished products for shipment.
- Complete inventory transactions accurately using scanners, computers, or inventory-management systems.
- Participate in cycle counts and assist in investigating inventory discrepancies.
- Follow material-rotation, traceability, and storage procedures.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or incorrect identification and report discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain clean, organized, and clearly identified warehouse and production-storage areas.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality requirements, and company policies.
- Collaborate with Production, Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and Inventory Control to maintain efficient material flow.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous material-handling, warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- The ability to operate material-handling equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred or must be obtained as required.
- Basic computer, scanning, inventory, and recordkeeping skills.
- The ability to read and follow work orders, labels, safety instructions, and written procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to inventory accuracy.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing changing priorities.
- Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
- The ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Working Environment
This position works in warehouse and manufacturing areas and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material movement. Employees may work around moving equipment, noise, varying temperatures, and other conditions typical of an industrial environment. Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn as required.
