As an accounting intern you will gain hands-on experience working alongside our finance team in areas such as financial reporting, budgeting, analysis and process improvement. This internship is designed to provide exposure to the daily operations of a finance department while building practical skills for your career.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assisting with monthly financial reporting, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Support preparation of budgets, forecasts and management presentations
  • Conduct research and data analysis to support business decisions
  • Partner with cross functional teams to gather and validate financial data
  • Perform other finance-related projects assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • A college student working on pursuing a degree in an Accounting Bachelor’s degree program.
  • Junior or Senior academic standing.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to work in a MS Windows environment, to work with your department’s business applications and with standard current computer applications.
