Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: New Bedford MA - New Bedford, MA 02740Education Level: Graduate DegreeSalary Range: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: Week DaysJob Category: Health Care  POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Pediatrics, the Nurse Practitioner will perform outpatient Newborn visits Sick visits School physicals  Immunizations  General pediatric procedures Review medical histories Interpret diagnostic tests Diagnose patient injury/illness and provide appropriate treatment and education Flexible shifts: Mondays - Fridays, Saturdays and Per Diem  QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION & OTHER CREDENTIALS: Current and unrestricted Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner Maintain current CPR/BLS Certification Maintain continuing medical education PREFERRED SKILLS (Not Required): Proficiency in: Spanish, Portuguese, K'iche, Cape Verdean Creole 2+ Years Nurse Practitioner experience under a collaborative
