Lead Pharmacy Operations & Make an Impact
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations while providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of pharmacy technicians.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed PharmD with strong retail pharmacy management experience who enjoys combining hands-on pharmacy practice with leadership, compliance, and operational oversight.
What You’ll Do
- Review, verify, prepare, and dispense prescriptions accurately and legally
- Counsel patients and provide medication-related guidance
- Lead, supervise, and support pharmacy technicians
- Manage technician scheduling, staffing, performance, and workflow
- Oversee inventory, medication expiration, stocking, labeling, and organization
- Maintain accurate patient medication profiles and dispensing records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Fraud, Waste & Abuse, and applicable pharmacy regulations
- Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and facility policies
- Optimize pharmacy workflow and operational efficiency
- Utilize pharmacy patient management systems effectively
- Support overall pharmacy operations and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Active Pharmacist License required
- 3–5+ years of retail pharmacy management experience
- Previous retail pharmacy experience required
- Pharmacy leadership/supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with pharmacy patient management systems
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
