System engineers ensure that all aspects of a project or system are considered and accounted for. Engineers are expected to provide technical support to production and service technicians in installing and troubleshooting the final product. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Receive and process orders by phone or at the counter Operate as shipping clerk Assist parts manager and assistant manager in miscellaneous tasks. Draft Schematics for systems layouts Provide technical support to technicians Integrate new and updated products Improve installation efficiency and quality Monitor motorhome BOM and part usages Other duties as needed QualificationsMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Associates or better in a related field (electronics, physics, CAD Design, etc.), preferred bachelors degree or higher. Basic understanding of electricity, circuits, and other related hardware Basic understanding of tools used for electronic work; multimeter, oscilloscope, and other related equipment Basic understanding of CAD and drafting; preferred experience with Creo software Intermediate to expert familiarity with a computer, computer software, and the ability to learn a variety of software, and set up troubleshooting systems.
