Delivery, Sign Installer & Building Maintenance Associate

Description

Duncan-Parnell is looking for a multi-functional position that supports branch operations by completing local and occasional out-of-area deliveries and pickups, assisting with sign installations, maintaining the building and warehouse, and helping the team meet customer deadlines. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to assist customers and team members as needs change throughout the day.  If you are looking for a role with a lot of variety and opportunity to learn many aspects of our business ranging from sign installations, print production, customer service, and operations, this could be a great fit for you.  Each day will look a little different!

Summary of job duties

• Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups

• Complete all deliveries and pickups accurately and in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate paperwork

• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and maintained according to company guidelines

• Complete site surveys as assigned

• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment needed for installations

• Use power tools, perform basic painting, and complete other manual labor tasks as needed

• Work safely at heights, including on ladders and in power lifts

• Perform quality checks on all installation and delivery orders

• Assist the production team as needed to complete work and meet customer deadlines

• Support the Myrtle Beach team with branch-related tasks as needed

• Help to keep the branch clean, organized, and well maintained

• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Maintain a professional, positive, and proactive attitude when serving customers and supporting co-workers

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and team members

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and remain effective under pressure

• Ability to stay productive and engaged in both fast-paced and slower work environments

• Maintain a satisfactory driving record that meets company and insurance provider requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
