Construction Management Co-op

Sehlhorst Equipment Services is seeking a motivated Construction Management Co-op to join our project management team. This is a great opportunity for a college student pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field to gain hands-on experience supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of demolition, excavation, and site utilities projects.

What You'll Do

• Assist project managers with day-to-day project coordination and administration
• Support scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking on active job sites
• Help prepare and review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Participate in site visits and job walks to monitor progress and field conditions
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, material tracking, and cost estimating
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field crews on project needs
• Help maintain project files, logs, and reports
• Support safety compliance efforts and documentation on jobsites
• Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes/action items

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a college/university program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with diverse teams (office and field)
• Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with scheduling or project management software a plus
• Interest in heavy civil, demolition, excavation, or site utilities construction preferred
