Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with Mobile/Embedded SoCs.
- Experience designing system architecture from a software perspective.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
- Expertise with Android architecture, Kernel, frameworks, services, etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge of interactions between software and different IP blocks, general and special purpose compute units.
- Understanding of computer architecture in embedded systems.
- Ability to traverse across the stack from Silicon to Apps.

- Guide strategic hardware decisions through deep-dive analysis of full-system workloads and first-party software stacks.
- Shape software architecture to unlock the full potential and specialized capabilities of custom silicon.
- Partner with Google Research, Pixel, and platform software teams to engineer category-defining features and user experiences.
- Architect end-to-end solutions that optimize for power, performance, and area (PPA) targets.
- Manage complex system-level bottlenecks by advocating bold, creative architectural approaches.
