Job DetailsJob Location: Focused Care at Mount Pleasant - Mount Pleasant, TX 75455REPORTS TO: ADMINISTRATOR POSITION SUMMARY: Assists the Activity Director in providing an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing of each patient. QUALIFICATIONS: 路 High school diploma or equivalent, or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training. 路 Previous experience in health care setting preferred ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 路 Assists and works with individual volunteers and volunteer programs at the request of the Activity Manager. 路 Conducts activity programs as planned to meet the functional levels, needs and interests of each patient as assigned by manager. 路 Completes appropriate records indicating patient's attendance and participation in individual and group activities in an accurate and timely manner. 路 Assists with escorting patients to and from activities. 路 Assists in the development of the Activity calendars. 路 Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations. 路 Performs other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations WORK SCHEDULE: As assigned, including some weekends, evenings and holidays; non-exempt position AA/EEO/M/F/D/V Qualifications
