Corvac Composites LLC in Morgantown, KY is seeking to fill the position of Quality Auditor. The purpose of this position is to assist the Quality Lead in ensuring products meet customer specifications, and monitor conformance to the Quality System. This is an hourly position with hours being Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm, with OT and Saturday work as needed.

 

The ideal candidate should posses the following:

·

  • Good reading, writing, and math skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to follow directions and work without direct supervision
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to utilize measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, etc…)
  • Ability to stand, twist, lift and bend for 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • 1 year automotive quality experience
  • 1 year ISO/TS experience
  • 1 year PPAP & SQAM experience

Job duties include, but not limited to:

  • Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
  • Adhere to all Corvac policies and procedures concerning safety and personal conduct
  • Monitor the production floor processes
  • Inspect the product produced during the shift
  • Oversee and assist in inspection/sorts as needed
  • Monitor Corrective/Preventive Actions that have been implemented
  • Report status daily to Quality 
  • Reports all nonconforming or questionable conditions to Team Leaders
  • Update scrap and downtime reports daily
  • Process Audit daily
  • Tag any nonconforming product for disposition by Management
  • Assist in the calibration of gages
  • Assist in PPAP and SQAM activities
  • Solve problems as necessary and provide leadership
  • Any additional quality activity deemed necessary by Management
