VNA is looking for a Account Liaison Representative.

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Associate Director of Business, the Account Liaison Representative (ALR) will be responsible for promoting VNA’s comprehensive service lines, developing and maintaining strong community relationships, generating referrals, and achieving or exceeding established sales and growth goals.  The ALR will leverage VNA’s long-standing legacy and mission of providing exceptional patient care to educate healthcare professionals, community partners, patients, families, and other key audiences about the services VNA provides.

This is a highly visible, field-based position, with approximately 85% of time spent in the community throughout Monterey, Seaside, and Carmel. The ALR will serve as a key liaison between VNA and its clients and referral partners while working collaboratively with clinical, operational, and program teams. 

Status: Full-Time (exempt)

Responsibilities: 

  •  Communicate effectively and cohesively with operations and clinical teams. 
  •  Establish relationships with, but not limited to, SNF, residential care, assisted living and community representatives, physicians, and Community Services clients. 
  •  Resolves customer feedback by investigating opportunities for development; collaborates on resolutions with program management. 
  •  Communicates effectively keeping the Business Development Manager apprised of activities in the territory. 
  •  Analyzes territory and develops call routing to establish correct targets, reach and frequency. 
  •  Educates referral sources on all aspects of VNA service lines frequently to ensure patient’s and clients’ needs are being met. 
  •  Participates in and/or leads community events representing VNA.

Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of one year experience in marketing and sales or related field 
  • Degree in business, marketing, or heath care related field preferred
  • Knowledge of community resources, healthcare services, and local community networks
  • Proven ability to establish, develop, and maintain professional relationships including managing and growing an existing account portfolio
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing positively to team objectives

The compensation range for this role is determined by factors such as location and required skills. The salary range provided reflects the lowest to highest amount we reasonably anticipate paying for this position at the time of posting. Compensation is influenced by labor market conditions and various factors, including but not limited to: prevailing minimum wage in the area, relevant education, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, sales or revenue targets, and business needs. It is not typical for a new hire to be offered the highest end of the salary range. Pay decisions are based on the unique circumstances of each candidate and position.
